Cantores Celestes Women's Choir and the Foggy Hogtown Boys "The Circle Never Ends " Cantores Celestes Productions, 2006 Cantores Celestes is one of the few women’s choirs in Toronto, Canada. The choir was founded in 1989 by director Kelly Galbraith. The ensemble began as a group of eight women who wanted to sing interesting thematic choral programs and develop concerts that involved participation from other art forms. These concerts have included exhibits from local visual artists, readings from Toronto authors, dramatic presentations, period costumes and a variety of multimedia presentations. Cantores Celestes has appeared on both CBC Radio I and Radio II, as well as the CBC commercially-released video 'Clyde Gilmour, a Celebration in Words and Music'. They have recorded music for three films. Their first CD, WASSAIL!, was released in 1998, followed by BRIGHT SHINING AS THE SUN in 1999 and LOVE'S PURE LIGHT in 2002. This fourth recording with the Foggy Hogtown Boys was an absolute joy to produce. Plans are underway for their 5th recording. The Foggy Hogtown Boys are winners of the Best Instrumental Band 2004 (Central Canadian Bluegrass Awards). Their latest recording is "Northern White Clouds". They released "Live at the Dominion" in 2004.
